Welcome Day on 4 October: Get to know Quartier Leech, the city and your fellow residents! Mass at 9:30 a.m. is optional; the mandatory programme for new residents begins at 11:00 a.m. at Franziskanerplatz 14.

Welcome Day at Quartier Leech

Welcome to Quartier Leech! On 4 October, all residents are warmly invited to join our Welcome Day. Attendance at the programme from 11:00 a.m. onwards is mandatory for all new residents.

4 October is the feast day of Saint Francis of Assisi. To commemorate the 800th anniversary of his death, Holy Mass will be celebrated at the Franciscan Church at 9:30 a.m. Attendance at Mass is optional.

Those who would like to walk to the church together can meet in front of Quartier Leech at 8:30 a.m. Residents who are not attending Mass should meet us at 11:00 a.m. in front of the main entrance to the Franciscan Church, Franziskanerplatz 14.

Afterwards, we will have lunch together and take a walk through the city. At approximately 3:30 p.m., there will be a guided tour of Quartier Leech at Leechgasse 24. The official programme will end at around 5:00 p.m.
